About the motif
A composition built from overlapping ellipses and ovals floats against a deep, rusty texture resembling etched metal or old patina. Geometric forms interpenetrate one another, creating an illusion of depth and transparency — from a steel-blue circle at the top, through a turquoise half-oval, to a warm, golden-copper shape at the bottom. The background texture radiates raw, industrial poetry — layers of rust, patina, and time seem to tell the story of the material.
