OBDYDIAN PRELUDE
Om motivet
Two massive black rectangles cut across a cream background like monumental beams of silence, and between them stretches a subtle grid of thin lines — a transition from graphite density to a barely perceptible pinkish haze. Jagged, charcoal-like traces on the sides of the blocks give the composition the rawness of a hand gesture, as if someone had stopped a brushstroke mid-breath. It's a dialogue between control and chance, between the brutality of form and the delicacy of the line — ascetic and deeply emotional at the same time.
