SUNSET SWING SORROW
Om motivet
A sepia photograph shows a lone swing hanging from a leaning coconut palm, whose silhouette cuts diagonally across the composition from the upper-right corner. In the background stretches a calm beach with undulating sea and the outline of a forested hill bathed in soft light. A muted palette of beiges, browns, and broken whites gives the whole an atmosphere of melancholic nostalgia and frozen time.
